Is the Sierra single-layer or lined?

The Sierra has a shrunken American bison outer layer and a Horween Chromexcel leather lining. Its 10–12 oz weight is the total finished leather weight.

Which belt size should I choose?

For the best fit, measure a belt from the leather fold at the buckle to the hole you use most. Order that length in inches. Pants waist size plus 2 inches is an estimate; use the fit guide to check it.

Can I buy a belt as a gift?

Yes. If you only know their pants waist size in inches, start with that size plus 2 inches. This is an estimate because clothing sizes vary. Between our listed sizes? Choose the next size up.

Leather care

Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Let the leather dry at room temperature, away from heat. Do not soak it. Test any leather care product on a small hidden area first. See our leather care guide.

Shipping & returns

Check the shipping policy and return policy before ordering. See the current terms for your destination and for custom work.

Buying a belt as a gift?

Only know their pants waist size? Usually add 2 inches.

Use waist sizes in inches. Between belt sizes? Choose the next size up.

Use a belt that already fits you well.

Measure from the leather fold to your usual belt hole Point 1 is the leather fold where the strap wraps around the buckle. Point 2 is the hole you use most. Measure the straight distance between these points. Do not include the buckle or measure to the strap tip. 12
  1. Start at the leather fold. Lay your belt flat. Place the tape at the fold where the leather wraps around the buckle. Leave the buckle out.
  2. Measure to your usual hole. Measure along the strap to the center of the hole you wear most. Use inches.
  3. Choose that belt size. We measure your new belt from the same leather fold to its center hole. If you fall between listed sizes, choose the next size up for a little extra length.

36 inches measured → choose belt size 36.

Five holes, 1 inch apart, give you two tighter and two looser settings.

Find your belt size

Start with a belt you already love.

Lay it flat. Measure from the leather fold at the buckle to the center of the hole you use most. Leave the buckle out of the measurement.

36 inches measured → belt size 36.

Your pants size is a starting point.

Use the waist size in inches from a pair of pants that fits well. Usually, add 2 inches to estimate your belt size. Measuring an existing belt is more reliable.

34-inch pants → start with belt size 36.

Don’t order your pants size as your belt size. Use waist sizes in inches, not a European clothing size.

Know their pants size? Keep it simple.

If you cannot measure a belt they wear, usually add 2 inches to their pants waist size. This is an estimate; clothing brands and how a belt is worn can change the fit.

Buying for someone who wears 34-inch pants? Start with belt size 36.

03

Clean stitching. Finished by hand.

Careful stitching frames the leather. Hand-burnished edges give the strap a smooth, finished feel.

Character that grows with you.

With wear and care, the leather softens and develops its own patina—a richer surface shaped by the way you wear it.
