Description

A belt with character you can see and comfort you can feel. The Sierra pairs the bold grain of full-grain American bison with a smooth Horween leather lining for an easy everyday fit.

Wear it with your favorite jeans or casual trousers. Natural wrinkles and markings give every strap its own look, while the stitched edges frame the leather without covering its texture. With use and care, the leather softens and develops a patina shaped by the way you wear it.

We cut, line, stitch and finish each Sierra in our New Jersey workshop. Hand-burnished edges give it a smooth finish. Your choice of solid brass or nickel-plated brass hardware completes the belt.

Want a different buckle? Chicago screws let you remove the original and fit another buckle made for a 1.5-inch strap. Choose your leather color, belt size and hardware to make the Sierra your everyday belt.

Buying a belt as a gift?

Only know their pants waist size? Usually add 2 inches.

34″ pants → choose belt size 36

Use waist sizes in inches. Between belt sizes? Choose the next size up.

Use a belt that already fits you well.

Measure from the leather fold to your usual belt hole Point 1 is the leather fold where the strap wraps around the buckle. Point 2 is the hole you use most. Measure the straight distance between these points. Do not include the buckle or measure to the strap tip. 12
  1. Start at the leather fold. Lay your belt flat. Place the tape at the fold where the leather wraps around the buckle. Leave the buckle out.
  2. Measure to your usual hole. Measure along the strap to the center of the hole you wear most. Use inches.
  3. Choose that belt size. We measure your new belt from the same leather fold to its center hole. If you fall between listed sizes, choose the next size up for a little extra length.

36 inches measured → choose belt size 36.

Five holes, 1 inch apart, give you two tighter and two looser settings.

Have a belt that fits? Measure that first.

Lay it flat and measure the leather—not the buckle or the full strap.

No belt to measure? Use a pair of jeans.

Use the labeled waist size in inches from a pair that fits, then usually add 2 inches.
