Collar size chart
  1. Wrap a soft tape around your dog’s neck. Leave room for two fingers between the tape and the neck.
  2. Choose a size whose range includes that measurement, with room to adjust in both directions. Do not add another 2 inches.
  3. After buckling, check that two fingers fit comfortably underneath and the collar cannot slip over the head.

  • Wickett & Craig vegetable-tanned cowhide combines a firm feel with rich color. Tanned in Pennsylvania, shaped by hand in New Jersey.
  • Color, grain, and natural marks vary from hide to hide. Our leather pieces must be seen and touched to truly appreciate the beauty.
  • Leather gains natural wear and patina over time. It is not waterproof.
How it is made
  • Each collar is handmade by Exit8Leather in our New Jersey workshop.
  • We cut and shape the leather, prepare the adjustment holes, and fit the buckle and attachment ring.
  • The finish is checked by hand before the collar leaves our workshop.
Personalization
Add a name, a phone number, or both using the laser engraving fields above Add to Cart. Engraving is $10 per collar and is done directly into the leather in our New Jersey workshop. Check spelling and phone numbers carefully before adding your collar to the cart.
Care
  • Wipe clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not soak or machine-wash.
  • If wet, allow to air-dry naturally away from heaters or direct heat.
  • Use a small amount of a suitable leather conditioner when needed; test on a hidden area first.
  • Check fit, leather, buckle, and ring regularly. Replace the collar if damaged or if the fit is no longer secure.
