The attachment ring is for leash clipping. This is a buckle collar; the ring is not a breakaway mechanism or a pressure-relief device.

How to measure + full size chart
  1. Wrap a soft tape around your dog’s neck. Leave room for two fingers between the tape and the neck.
  2. Choose a size whose range includes that measurement, with room to adjust in both directions. Do not add another 2 inches.
  3. After buckling, check that two fingers fit comfortably underneath and the collar cannot slip over the head.

Find your dog’s collar size

Measure where the collar will sit.

Use a soft measuring tape. Keep it snug, with room for two fingers under the tape.

Measure the neck with room for two fingers.
  1. Wrap the tape around the base of your dog’s neck, where the collar normally sits.
  2. Check that two fingers fit comfortably underneath. Read that measurement in inches.
  3. Choose a size range that includes that measurement. Overlapping ranges? Aim for a comfortable fit near the middle of the range.
